In 2012, 30 states allowed no-excuse mail-in voting. In 2016, 8 states saw more than a fourth of voters send in their ballots. Taibbi has either gotten a lot dumber, or he just doesn't give a shit anymore.

Show PostInteresting how the arrest doctrine here, in a 1865 Massachusetts case, amounted to a sort of exclusionary rule. You had a right to resist arrest if the warrant was an unlawful, so whether the conviction for rioting could be upheld depended on the particularity of the warrant.
