I love that my mom has figured out emoji. Some days, she's just too tired to talk or even really engage with me. (Burnout runs in the family, and I'm desperately trying to avoid giving it to my kids.) But I can reliably text her an emoji, and she'll send one back, and then I know that she's ok.

I work mostly with authors and non-profits who fall into the same situation. Board I volunteer for can maybe get away with 2 links (presuming event links don't count) but it's odd to imagine we'll not be able to promote our allies because we have to hoard our links. Antithetical to ethos of www.
