I do feel like my ex is putting me through this child support/custody hell bc he’s abusive. He’s angry I outed him as abusive (emotionally, financially and he was escalating physically at the end-punched and strangled me in his sleep and held me down once while screaming “YEAH I WANTED TO FUCK HER”)

The Oklahoma Survivors’ Act, passed in 2024, was supposed to help reduce the sentences of prisoners who survived domestic violence if the abuse they endured was found to be a “substantial contributing factor” to their crime. Most are still behind bars.
