he was very constructive & objective about it tho. It felt like an instructor dealing with a disruptive student. the polite & professional way it was handled makes it very hard to refute by anyone after the fact. he didn't degrade the troll at all. this is the way - for political leaders at least.

Obama's emphasis was always on telling everyone not to boo or shout down some heckler because the priority was always pretending that maximum civility toward those who hate us will make us all better. And it absolutely did not do that.
