People don’t want to face the abuse that happens within families, behind closed doors. Estrangement makes public what is supposed to he kept “secret” by children.
Show PostKids are going to hate their parents going forward for very good reasons. Old Americans no longer care about any future for anyone.
Show PostThe Wall Street Journal published readers' responses this weekend and the first comment captured my thoughts! Way more abused kids maintain contact that shouldn't so it's hard to believe that there is a significant problem with parents cut off for "no reason". www.wsj.com/lifestyle/re...
Show PostEven in estrangement those kids love their parents more than they're getting back. They love their parents enough not to broadcast their parents' shittiness to the world, they try to keep it quiet, low-key, private. But the parents don't extend the same courtesy and whine in public.
Show PostWhat's extremely telling is that there is never once an article like this written from the perspective of the person who cut off their parent.
