I don't know where the show plans to take this storyline. I'm sad to see Stolas living through it, bc I know it's so so hard. But also I know that it's possible to change, it just takes a lot of work.

Stolas had one absent parent (neglect is abuse too btw), an abusive wife, then an affair with someone who acted cold and distant. Now Blitz has flipped. And Stolas' trauma is not ready for that. So he's looking for the situations he knows. They're familiar.

It can feel so overwhelming that you're brain shuts off, that you are literally unable to process it. It's esp bad if people have used false feelings of affection against you, or the people who are suppose to be hard coded to love you, don't (like your parents) (2/6)
