This attitude is super damaging to every creative field, especially because generative AI apps have all been trained on creatives' work without their permission (not to mention they are terrible for the environment). If you don't support AI in your specialty, don't support it anywhere else.
Show PostI'm seeing creatives say that gen AI is not okay for their own specialized field, but it's totally fine for areas they're not experts in. For example, an artist will use AI to write a graphic novel script, but never for art; a writer will use AI for their cover art, but never for writing.
