Am waiting on my latest FOI request, but for Jan to March this year, 61 (35%) asylum appeals by Eritreans succeeded, 79 (46%) were withdrawn (typically means HO has decided the decision is wrong) and 33 (19%) were dismissed.

In the year to June 2026, arrivals on resettlement schemes dropped by 50% - around 3,500 fewer people arrived. And @refugeecouncil.bsky.social estimates that since it refugee family reunion was "paused" last September, around 20,000 people have been prevented from applying.
