We already have flying cars. They're called helicopters. They're really expensive and there are good reasons you have to have a pilot license and work with air traffic control to fly them. Putting jets on a sedan is not going to result in a better vehicle or transportation experience in any way.

I’m seeing more AI generated graphics in the wild. It’s hardly the most important part of all this, but it’s making the world uglier every day. So many of the materials I see on a day-to-day basis have this creepy, uncanny valley vibe to them.

This is an often forgotten point. UK is holding thousands of people in a status limbo. They get status, but no way of knowing how long it'll last and no settlement options. Planning work? School? One of the few things the UK has control over in the response to the war and they do this.
