I’ve seen so many exec meltdowns or de-humanizing employees on LinkedIn that I’ve lost track. And they get all this wonderfully affirming feedback on their behavior from other execs, middle managers, HR folks etc. They make the token changes needed to look good and raise a fake KPI, but thats it

ok, see…this is kind of the point I’m making Full time is not “40 hours a week”. For some people it’s 20 or 30 hours. Its an antique measure. The job is doing the work agreed to in the manner you can do it, not clocking a set # of hours And getting execs to understand *that* is the change we need

seriously, if you can convince them that “time theft” is an imaginary concept designed as a form of legitimized subjugation and power dynamics of control, then we have a good starting point “You’re not paying for time, you’re paying for a relationship” as a key executive takeaway would be amazing.

I’m not making the claim that AI can’t help here - the subversive piece is actually clever. You really could trick execs into doing the right thing with the right platform - Ive worked in adjacent research. But that also wont change who they (typically) are, which is a systemic issue not a local one
