I hate AI as much as the next person, and something like 95% of AI queries we looked at contained definitively incorrect information, but there are some broad research topics where it IS currently faster/cheaper to get the AI summary and fact check out all the errors than to use conventional search.

As a research tool, Chatgpt is good at one thing: producing summaries/lists that are 40-80% incorrect but can give you an overview of popular terms and discussion topics that you can then look into individually. Even this is bad/introduces bias but, given the state of search, sometimes useful.
