Say what you will about this man and his movies, personally I think he’s very hit and miss, but he is absolutely correct when it comes to this statement, at the very least you can tell this man does care about movies, not to mention he just seems like such a nice guy all around.

Socializiation is real, but "male" and "female" socialization is not. We are all socialized under patrichary and learn the rules and roles from there; and additionally much more then gender what we are told to take up in how we interact with people.
