I have tried not to say anything about this because it would make me too sad. And I still can’t really think hard about this or else it would break my heart. People with disabilities and their parents fight so damn hard to get their kids a public education. And then this happens.

This is incredibly sad. I once interviewed RJ Mitte on the Southbank and he was very friendly and joyful on a sunny day by the river. He leaves a legacy of disability representation on the screen; something that is far from easy to achieve and still too rare. www.theguardian.com/culture/2026...

RJ Mitte was a fierce advocate for disability justice. He had cerebral palsy and his disability was a central part of his character on Breaking Bad. Despite the shows success, Mitte lost most of his earnings due to an unscrupulous business manager. The “crip tax” is real.
