the double standard in gender healthcare sucks. i need to be fully out as a transwoman already to everyone in my life, despite how masc i look, cause "appearance shouldnt matter to identity". at the same time they judge me for dressing "too masc" (i put on a hoodie before the appt bc it was COLD AF)

Probably the hardest part is that, to tell my story, I'd have to say mean things about folks I've desperately wanted to get back on my side for the last two years. I mean, I know they aren't coming back, and I know it would be good to just write up my experience but... It's hard to kill that hope.
