I realize part of why I love The Birdcage so much after rewatching it yesterday is that it took me back to a time when Jewish Democrats thrived in S Florida. A time when my grandparents, transplants from Long Island were alive and thriving in Palm Beach County. Sadly, it’s a cesspool now.
