Interesting points, but I ultimately don't care about them in the context of this discussion. Just because someone else has their own separate reasons to be annoyed by things doesn't mean other people can't have their own reasons to be annoyed by the same things.

Obviously there are limits and the biggest issue with his actions is that he takes things out on people who don't deserve it, but he was obviously meant to be relatable as well because we all fucking want to take out our anger at what's directly in front of us sometimes as well.

We know he's the "bad guy", that doesn't matter here. Him being a shitty husband/parent doesn't make him wrong about literally all else. And I get that the duality of the cop shows other people have to deal with life too and don't lose it, but it doesn't change factors are driving us insane either.
