Show PostAs a creator who's also gotten threats, I'll stand up for a colleague. As an SA survivor, I'm aware how others feel. I still don't think death threats are the answer. The team had a take on a story, & ppl found it offensive. My comment about not getting the next issue was "vote with your wallet."
Show PostThat's a common refrain. If it was misunderstood or seen as calloused, I could have worded it differently, but that was the intention. Either way, calling for the death of someone for a story you found hurtful is not the answer. And I'm not saying you, personally, made threats.
Show PostIf you're disappointed by me or my earlier statement, I hope this clears it up. If it doesn't, then I don't know what else to say. Yes, 2 things can be true. The threats are wrong, and ppl were hurt. There are real ppl attached to both of these points. Let us all remember that, myself included.
