When I look back over my life, I realise that I've survived a lot. I was convinced my life would stop at 50, given all my health issues. But I'm a tough old bird. I'm still here. I'm still fighting. Every day is a milestone. Every ache and pain reminds me I'm still alive to feel. Enjoy life. 💜

Think I am going to try adopting this framing. As a weird GenX guy hitting late middle age reframing health indignities as the challenge I get because I -survived- the earlier ones feels kind of like applying video game metaphors, and I think I kind of like it.
