Hey @highleyginger.bsky.social and @astrokittycat.bsky.social I slept on Cycle of Life and Death at first. In my mind I was comparing it to the ongoing series, but I think a limited series is more of a short story. And the more I thought about it, the more I respected what it had to say.
Show PostThat’s funny because I was very aware the author was a woman at times— some of the scenarios Ivy found herself in. I think my main issue with this one was that she remained too distant throughout. The Willow Wilson series you get to know her. She kind of remains a stranger in this one.
