7 US presidents haven't presented an alternative to the Iranian people; they can't talk to them directly and we don't have a good history w their people either. The US gov. can't wave a wand to change another nation.

So, a 45 (73) year problem. Thousands of scholars and pols have all failed to triumph. Iranians themselves are really the only party who can truly achieve change.
