#albumshuffle Day 700: 400% - 400% [God's Pop Records, 2000] Sweet 'n' mellow post rock from Japan. Spacey, drifting along at its own pace. Twinkling synths on Peacoat and White Knit Cap makes me think a bit of Mogwai's 2 Rights Make 1 Wrong (hark, an analogy from the man with no working memory).

#albumshuffle Day 696: The Ah Club - Squeeze My Cares Away [Shrimper, 1993] Manipulated beats and 60s/70s pop samples, chopped and screwed with flat, often tuneless singing layered over the top. Uneven, shifting terrain like listlessly cycling through radio stations and blossoming datura pop.
