My neurologist called with the results of the MRI: "severe narrowing" of the spinal canal at the intervertebral disc between L3 and L4. Fortunately, this can be fixed; he is referring me for a "fairly simple" procedure—which will take place soon. I am so, so grateful that I can be fixed. *tears
