Yes, I often think how the prem could try and emulate it - but I think culturally rugby very different in England. France loves festivals and regional pride in general it kind of taps into that. England identity much more city based maybe favouring football (open to debate).

Last game in Toulon they had a helicopter flyover pre game and dropped some marines onto the pitch. Last game in Bordeaux was at the football stadium with a massive light show. They do love a show in France. Bands, booze, chanting and they make it a big day out (not that expensive either).

Is there a long term regression from where Ireland was 22/23? Of course. But they’re still in the main chasing pack behind South Africa (who are a class on their own) and are definitely better than England and the rest. This is a good season
