With Tom Skerritt's passing, the cast of Alien have so far died in the same order as the director's cut (where they find Dallas still alive waiting to become a cocoon): 1) John Hurt 2) Harry Dean Stanton 3) Ian Holm 4) Yaphet Kotto 5) Tom Skerritt It's macabre, sure, but it's also fascinating.
Show PostI voted no on Prop 38. CA universities have a perfectly functioning immunobiology research community; we don’t need to concentrate it in one place.
Show PostGreat job to all the scientists who lent their names and reputations to Colossal. Big congratulations. /s
Show PostI'm usually 100% for new science funding but a definite NO on Prop 38. There are plenty of currently functioning Immunology labs at CA universities and biotechs that should be able to compete for state money, not just a billionaire's institute with no currently employed scientists.
