The women have been hired based on appearance rather than ability. The men have been hired based on corruption rather than ability. Neither are fit for purpose but the corrupt have the greater advantage.

The Guardian should know the importance of words. She was never an entrepreneur, always a fraudster. For the opening line to say entrepreneur turned fraudster implies that she was legitimate at some point. Shameful writing. Why are we so afraid to call a spade a spade?

There are many contributory things to the ruination of pubs. One was the flawed plan to open up the market by limiting the number of pubs a brewery could own. The end result was brewing companies swapped their pubs for the recipes of other brewers. You got less diversity in the market.
