We're very happy that our 2026 venue map has been designed by @jogbrogzin.bsky.social! We'll have some B&W prints available for members attending in Cork. If you prefer a 2D version, we'll have those too & you can find it on our website on the Venue page. octocon.com/venue/ #Octocon2026

The Sopherone Saga continues tomorrow with GM Dave. With their time in the Drakewar Forest coming to an end the party are discussing making a dash for the mountains. But will Scales’ sister Vereth slow them down and if so, what can be done about it? www.twitch.tv/emerald_coll...

Perhaps it's obvious stuff, but I've been musing on it a lot, especially with all the discussion of Mork Borg/Deathbringer/Dark Sun and all the similar 'edgy' RPG stuff coming out lately. My tastes aren't edgy at all; in fact, they're probably best described as nerdy. But they're not cozy!

Huge congrats to the James and the MCDM team for breaking a million! Very cool to see both Deathbringer RPG & Crows break seven figures so close together, and both OSR-adjacent systems. Crows is running much fewer big ticket "whale" options, which makes it even more impressive!
