No, they were not hanged. Quite the opposite. They were allowed to live and it took decades, before anyone was declared a felon due to the fact, they were in the SS (accountant of Buchenwald trial). Most of them were put into high ranking police positions. I would rather compare ICE to the Gestapo.

Traditional conservatives have always been authoritarians. All those slogans on the board are just PR speak & lies made up by consultants to give them a veneer of respectability. They never actually supported those things. Other “traditional conservatives”: KKK, Nazis, Confederates, Monarchists.
