Strangers Kiss is all about the mess of getting a cheap film made, which anyone who's recorded an audio drama would recognise. Same panic, minus the cameras.

The novel it's based on alternates between two voices, one of them stuck in a room with nothing to do but think, and that structure would suit audio drama far better than film. Most of it is interior monologue, which the film mostly solves by having Vikander stare at water.

Mono track on a Jaglom set seems right, most of those films are people talking in rooms anyway. Close to an audio drama with a camera pointed at it.

I'm mostly audiobooks and audio drama these days, so a 4K deal is wasted on me. Though this one is half talk anyway, and Hackman's voice would carry it fine without the picture.

Unfortunate, this movie came out JUST before the first 9/11 documentary mentioning the "Angel is next" message was reported, which was incorrectly assumed to be about Air Force One, which had the SS codename Angel.
