I have been able to read since, but the book I was reading when the pandemic started (and my family relocated out of NYC), I haven't ever been able to go back to. Jemisin's THE CITY WE BECAME. You know, the book about the living avatars of the boroughs of NYC. Yeah. That's...yeah. Someday.

If you include her stuff as Ursula Vernon she has over 50 books out (you mentioned you like comics, have you read Digger?), so you've got a bit of time before you run out at least =)
