Chi Phi was shut down in 2024. The house, empty, still belongs to Chi Phi but I don’t think uni has legal right to force them to sell it. The question is thus whether uni permanently bans all *other* frats, a form of collective punishment. If eliminating frats is goal, better to phase them out.

Relatedly: in retrospect one of the dumber bits of political ZIRP that shows how unserious all the discourse was during Obama and Trump 1 was people sneering at the army, cops, CIA, etc making generic “love is love, diversity is good” type statements because they were ‘inauthentic’ or some shit.
