That's a rather rational and objective explanation of the situation by them. As long as nobody is writing "Haha, poo-poo, we're so much better", I wouldn't call it a dispute between 13-year-olds.

Seriously, I'm vitally interested in the subject. If you received threats, publish them please. If you received *attacks on /e/ os* (not rebuke), I need to see them. Attacks cannot be tolerated......however a critique is usually not an attack, this is why I'd need to see it. Without that? Slander.

Their criticisms against /e/OS is valid. GrapheneOS does amazing work for the Android ecosystem and are one of the biggest contributers to the upstream AOSP when it comes to security and privacy patches that I've seen in the space.

Now not to say the GrapheneOS project is above criticism. Far from the truth, but considering how much people attack their project just because it makes their project look bad. I dont blame them for being as defensive as they are.

Really a "they say / he says" situation: grapheneos.social/@GrapheneOS/... What's true is that e/OS/ posture on security has been dishonest forever. And they can't pretend to provide privacy if they stay behind on security.
