I've changed my email signature, so I guess it's official: I'm now Professor of History at @bbkhistorical.bsky.social. How did I celebrate? Obviously by buying myself a 1743 deposition, 1713 apprenticeship indenture, 1779 receipt and 1651 petition off ebay. Aren't they pretty?

Mine cost me £30 on eBay but still worth every penny.

I’m incredibly jealous you got it for 4 quid. Clearly no idea what they had there!
Show PostThat makes it even sweeter! Welcome to the club of owning the Holy Grail of folklore books. (I paid £40 for mine 😵💫🙄)!
