My 6 year old had a tough day with classmates at school, and then found a beloved toy had gotten broken. It was rough. So, we got ice cream, and had a friend over. Before bed he said, “I had a really bad day. (Long pause). But I handled it. And that’s a good thing.” My sweet kiddo.
