Show PostEven without that tho, AI companies are several billion in the hole just getting models to perform at the level they do now, but continued upkeep/innovation of models going forward will require a magnitude of borrowed money and new, non-slop data that would just be materially impossible to acquire
Show PostThus degradation and collapse are just inevitable. There is simply no physical possibility of a business model that brings in enough revenue to get out of the hole and pay for necessary costs to keep maintaining/updating models. They are not even remotely close to achieving this
