In the article they used the plant’s DNA, with genes THCAS, CBDAS, and CBCAS, to determine if theres more THC or CBD. DNA sequencing made a decision tree of cannabis types and 2 tests SNaPshot and TaqMan qPCR which worked but had trouble with samples near the legal THC cutoff @yeastychic.bsky.social
