Disability happens. It just does. Sometimes it is someone’s fault but that doesn’t make it a failure by the state or a disabled person. Life is hard & the outcomes are hard. The solution isn’t starving ppl in the dark to make them work. Some bodies/ minds just can’t & they will just die w/o help

They’re claiming it as the state’s moral failure, but I wasn’t born disabled because of anything anyone did. And it didn’t become worse w/ a brain injury caused by a virus because of anyone’s actions - other than doctors initially deciding my seizures were mental illness w/o performing *any* tests.

There are two reasons I never had trouble accepting Trans people. One is that I got a good biology education even before going to Uni to study it. The other is that I did read Terry Pratchett's fantastic books. If you can do both, but at bare minimum read the books!
