I'm not saying that every person can do volunteer work, I'm just saying if I have to listen to the same Eeyore shit every time we talk maybe you should find something to do. I'm overworked and broke all the time, and doing a regular volunteer shift is one of greatest acts of self-care I know.
Show PostI meet a lot of people that complain about being depressed, directionless, and powerless, but when I'm like, you should do a volunteer shift sometime for a cause you believe in, it's like I just asked them to personally cut out their own kidney.
