Video from Maura Hennelly captures her sunbeam snake named 'Vespira' in all her glory. Sunbeam snakes (genus Xenopeltis) are non-venomous snakes from SE Asia that kill small prey (frogs, rodents) by constricting. They burrow through soft dirt or leaf litter in humid jungles. (📷:@maurahennelly IG)

Stéphane De Greef captured this video in 2014 near Angkor Thom in Siem Reap, Cambodia, part of a study on 'blue ants' in genus Leptogenys. The ants hunted this Thyropygus millipede as a group, paralyzed it with venom & are forming chains to haul it back to their nest. 🧪 (📷: Stéphane De Greef)
