For real, years of antidepressants that made me mentally and physically worse - including gaining an alarming amount of weight - set me up for an even harder time in the present. And recommending GLP-1 for weight loss after an IBS diagnosis is also not helpful 🙃

To have a doctor look at me an tell me I need to exercise more when I can barely get out of bed or to eat less when I eat like a bird to begin with pisses me the fuck off. I have a debilitating chronic illness and my pituitary is a pancake. It's like, "fuck you, man."
Show PostTHIS. I have idiopathic intercranial hypertension (IIH) with an empty sella and a crushed pituitary gland. I've probably had it most of my life, slipping in and out of flare-ups unaware. I've never been obese per se until the IIH got out of control recently.
