Art auction for Casey House at Royal York tonight (non Toronto folk: the place where Princess Diana held the hand of an AIDS patient for first time in 1987). I was the date of an artist tonight (1st time coming). It started in a parking lot, now this mega. Toronto seems incredibly huge (it is).

Whenever I write something like this that looks at AIDS history, a small minority of people will say things like "Get over it! Move on!" It's interesting to me that it's mostly those who remember it, not younger people. Anyway, to them: Nah. There's no getting over history, only getting through it.
