I am completely unfamiliar with the band, but every time I hear or read the name, I think of the indie movie theater of the same name in Monterey, CA when I was stationed there in 1989. It had bean bags instead of chairs.

I was watching an episode of The Sopranos, and I saw a guy wearing a "Terri Schiavo Vigil 3-31-05 You go girl" t-shirt. It's just as cringe-inducing as seeing "Tawana told the truth" graffiti in the film Do The Right Thing.
