you would not believe how many people have told me that Avivo feels dehumanizing. Moreover, they charge people 30% of their income (usually SSI or SSDI) to stay there. The facility is always understaffed, there’s no food, and avivo takes their food stamps

I'm fading fast. Putting my affairs in order, coordinating with my therapist and my family, figuring out my will. I've only stuck around this long because it's so important to me to do all the good I can while I'm still here. I can't hold on much longer. I need this to work.
