@juanrga.bsky.socialIt seems that if "quantumly" a "particle" can overcome a higher energy barrier, then that particle would have to either change form (i.e.,so that it's energy becomes balanced/neutral - allowing passage) or it somehow 'borrows' energy from the barrier itself and then returns it once past the barrier?
Show PostIt can be seen as a necessary disclaimer statement to make since there are educated, otherwise reasonable people making the argument that complexity isn't necessary, simple always is better from some perspective, etc.
Show PostYour book sounds intriguing and has some positive reviews! To ensure it aligns with my ethics, could you share more details or evidence? Thanks!
Show PostCan you elaborate ? I do not buy books on that platform, if you could just hint at one of your claims it would helpful.
Show PostThanks for your response. This relates to Ockhams razor (re the highlighted paper), positing that models should be as simple as possible. Sometimes, indeed even simple models are able to explain complex patterns (think CAs and Conways game of life), but simultaneously complex models can be useful!
