Well this was prescient. I'm again seeing trans people harassed for criticizing anti-trans Dems with "you wouldn't vote for a 'lesser evil' to stop Hitler becoming president!!!" In 1932 a lot of people did vote for a "lesser evil" to stop exactly that. He promptly put Hitler in power.

An overlooked reason many liberals feel fine with rank bigotry is because they still surround themselves with Republican friends and family even as those "loved ones" became open Nazis over the last decade. You can't possibly imagine a better world while you happily wallow in the worst of this one.
