Thursday morning I'm going in to have an ultrasound done on my heart. The procedure is called TEE: Transesophageal Echocardiogram, & they'll go in through my mouth. It has minimal risk involved, but I'm nervous anyway. They want to get a better look at the leaky valve. So, we'll see what we see...

I think the internet has boiled my brain because now when I have even an inkling of romantic interest in someone, the first thing I feel is this intense wave of guilt that I might impose some sort of social/emotional burden on them by expressing interest in them. Less than ideal!
