Unfortunately I will not likely be able to make it, and was not able to go this season at all. But at the very least I will be there in spirit. And if the stars align I’ll come out for at least a little while.

That they’ve managed to run multiple show during the closing season is proof enough. Hersheypark should try to poach SFA’s Live Entertainment department and pay to relocate people, IMO.

It would be Very Bad for new Six Flags (read: Cedar Fair) to say, “yknow what old Six Flags got right? Charge $1.75 for gate admission, then $40 for parking, $25 for five chicken nuggets, $30 for haunted houses, and $7 for water.” Literally the root of all old Six Flags’ evils was this strategy.

Fortunately one of the first moves under the new management was to remove some extra fees and lower certain food prices at the legacy Six Flags parks. We'll see how long that attitude lasts; this is the first sign of the reverse direction of influence onto legacy Cedar Fair parks.
