On the day we had Bee-eaters in the nets at Antikythira, Alan and Trevor also caught Turtle Doves, Hoopoe and a juvenile Pallid Harrier in a net specifically designed by Trevor to capture birds of prey. #p1000 #birdwatching #birds #wildlife #birdringing

A relatively quiet couple of hours yesterday afternoon at Strumble where 3 Brent Geese, 6 Common Scoter and a Red-throated Diver were the highlights. Small numbers of Guillemots, Razorbills and Kittiwakes also. Common Dolphins present throughout but often hard to pick out in the swell. #birdingWales

It's great when birding throws nice surprises your way, today was certainly one of those days. Uninspiring westerlies and then... Subalpine Warbler ! No dropped feathers but a poo sample recovered from the bag so🤞. Then in the evening... Cuckoo ! #NEbirding #BirdRinging
