Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but my favourite trivia is about Space Balls; Mel Brooks wrote to George Lucas to ask permission to spoof Star Wars. Lucas agreed, but only on the condition that Lone Star did not look like Han Solo. Which is why he's dressed as Indiana Jones...
