There are still 3 months left in 2026, and I have already reviewed significantly more papers than in any past calendar year. Yet simultaneously I have had to decline more review requests than ever. Not saying it's all AI's fault, but I have encountered some very blatant and counterproductive uses.

Amazon Mechanical Turk (AMT/Mturk) will be shut down as of September 30th. This marks the end of an era. It laid the foundation to the now ubiquitous use of online studies in the psychological and social sciences. It also became too unreliable in recent years. Still, I'm going to miss it.

It feels strange to share good news, but: I’m moving to UCSD in July!! 🥳 I'm very grateful for my time at Princeton and SO excited for what comes next. We're building multiplayer games to study how teams are shaped by the problems they solve. If that sounds fun to you, I'm accepting grad students!
