Not really annoying, intellectual, which Americans are typically annoyed by. America and the world would be better off had he won that election. I excised people from my life for voting for Nader.

I can squash another myth about Reagan. His "Tear this Wall Down" speech did not raise the pulse of me or any of my fellow East Germans around me at the time. We later brought down the Berlin Wall ourselves.

Maybe you should talk to the Soviets about the effect that speech had on them; you were able to tear down that wall because they didn’t come out and shoot you for tearing it down. That took a little prep work.
